Aerotech Systems, Inc. has been in the airline and travel industry communications software business since 1985. Our early marketing activities were focused on creating alliances with major computer companies who do business with airlines, CRS network providers, and travel agencies. Our products are in use by tens of thousands of airline and travel agency professionals worldwide in the Americas, Australia and New Zealand, Asia, the Middle East, and Europe. The following is a highlight of significant milestones of our achievements:
In 1987 we aligned with NCR Corporation's Middle East operations and achieved success in the deployment of our MultiRes/ALC software product on NCR UNIX system platforms at various regional carriers for departure control, passenger check in, and load planning applications.
In 1988 we had a major break through with AT&T's Computer Systems Division in a source code licensing agreement for our MultiRes software technology. Since then our customer base continued to expand at a growing pace. A direct result of that accomplishment was AT&T's ability to provide an ALC connectivity platform as the foundation for System One's Prism travel agency automation product worldwide.
In 1990 we reached a distribution agreement with Fantasia Information Network in Australia to market and support our MultiRes/ALC and MultiRes/X.25 products. To date, Fantasia has deployed our software at very substantial number travel agency locations in Australia and New Zealand.
In 1991 we again demonstrated our strength in securing a very important business relationship with Abacus Distribution Systems. Its flagship automation product, the Abacus Easi Manager, is based entirely on the MultiRes/ALC product.
1992 marked our entry into the European, Caribbean and South American markets by teaming up with Worldspan International and the SABRE Travel Information Network. Numerous Worldspan and SABRE subscribers now use our products as a direct replacement for their own respective product offerings.
During the first quarter of 1994 we upgraded our relationship with Fantasia Information Network in Australia to that of a source code licensee. In the same period, we also licensed our MultiRes/ALC software to United Airlines to support the many thousands of reservations agents in United Airlines reservations centers as well as airport operations.
In 1993 our heterogeneous client/server product, MultiRes/ALC for TCP/IP, was deployed heavily at American Trans Air, Continental Airlines, and United Airlines for reservations operations. A variation of this product, MultiRes/ALC for IPX/SPX also proved to be extremely attractive at locations where a large number of Novell Netware workstations were already present.
